The following contains important information about auditions.
The Ensemble Version was created to permit production of this remarkable show in smaller venues. The story and the music have been preserved, but the cast size has been reduced by having most cast members assume multiple roles. The “Cast of Characters” will help you identify the role combinations that may be of interest to you. As an additional resource, below you’ll find a table that reveals the vocal range for each role or combinations of roles.
A performance of the Ensemble Version can be seen on BroadwayHD, where the trailer can be viewed without a subscription.
