Over three decades after the duo’s final collaboration, The Sound of Music, took Broadway by storm, this new R&H musical opened the 1994 Broadway season with flair and distinction, garnering wildly enthusiastic notices and earning two Tony nominations, including Best Musical. This acclaimed musical revue, featuring hits from classics like Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music, as well as lesser-known gems, offers a unique opportunity to showcase your vocal prowess and stage presence. Join us for a celebration of Rodgers & Hammerstein's iconic works, where timeless melodies meet innovative interpretations.

Projected Cast Size:
10-12 (5-6 women and 5-6 men, of which 2-4 will be dancers)
Roles:
As a musical review, this show is basically unscripted. There are no specific roles; however, the songs require leading men, leading ladies, comic ingenues, comic juveniles, and soubrettes. The show will be presented in a “Cabaret” format, with every cast member being showcased.

Prepare 16-24 bars of a Rodgers and Hammerstein selection. An accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music (in your key) OR accompaniment track with start and stop times identified.
Rehearsals:
Mon. - Thurs., 7-10PM beginning Oct. 1, 2025
2-3 Saturdays 11AM - 2PM: Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1 (if needed)
Tech week starts on Sun., Nov. 9, 2025
